Weald & Downland Living Museum – Friday 30th July 2021

Destination: Weald & Downland Living Museum – Home to the hit tv show The Repair Shop

Date: Friday 30th July 2021

Price: £40.00 per adult / £38.00 over 60’s / £32.00 per child 4-17yrs / Under 4’s free of charge – Includes entrance fee

Information: Discover traditional buildings in a rural landscape, which tell the stories of the people who lived and worked in them over a 1,000-year period. Explore the Museum’s 40-acre site and visit some of our 50 exhibit buildings – many of our exhibit houses are furnished to recreate historic domestic interiors.

Witness a past that is truly alive! Through craft demonstrations, we’ll show you how they would have operated hundreds of years ago – experience blacksmithing, milling, spinning, Tudor cooking and more.

The centre of the Museum site is flat with parts set on sloping ground, which is steep in places. Access around the site is on rural surfaces; mainly rolled or loose chippings, which are in keeping with the nature of the site and buildings. Some paths are cobbled, and their surfaces may cause difficulty for visitors who use a wheelchair or have impaired mobility.
